Gary Gilbert | Black Belt
Gary teaches our morning classes and runs the weekend Open Mat Sessions, as well as helping fill in for Rob when he is traveling to compete or teach seminars. Gary brings the nerd powers to teaching his classes, using an intelligent approach, and his JiuJitsu is similarly cerebral. He excels at identifying and communicating critical details that allow students to focus on areas of highest yield development.
As a competitor he has repeatedly proven the effectiveness of brains over brawn, including several events where he won while competing up a belt level (or 2) from his actual rank.
